MENORCA WEATHER

Insurance included

Our vessel has insurance for both the boat and passengers as required by current regulations, including civil liability, sea rescue, accident coverage, towing, mandatory travel insurance for passengers and crew (SOVI), in addition to the guarantee of a qualified and professional captain.

Safety Regulations

The first rule to follow at sea is simple: the route is decided by the sea and, above all, the weather. For this reason, we add a link to each route to download the Windy and Puertos del Estado applications. There, the most reliable information is published to decide where to go. The easiest thing is to go south if the wind is from the north and vice versa. In any case, you are on a boat and the captain is in charge!

You should know that on the boat, as required by law, we have as many life jackets as occupants, even some extra, in addition to other safety equipment that the captain will show you. Just in case, I inform you that they are in a hatch in front of the access to the interior cabin. Except in case of emergency in which the captain cannot act, it is advisable not to touch elements that may be dangerous. Flares are not toys and must be used safely and only in case of serious emergency. Otherwise, use the radio on channel 16 or call the emergency numbers. We also have fire extinguishers and a complete first-aid kit on board. Always follow the captain’s instructions.
