Cancellation Conditions

In some cases, we find ourselves needing to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen problems on the boat that compromise safety during navigation. This can include mechanical issues or structural damage. It can also happen that, due to technical failures in our online booking system, duplicate reservations are generated for the same day, which forces us to cancel some due to overselling. In these cases, we prioritize safety and proceed as follows:

  • We always try to reschedule the activity for another day that is convenient for all parties involved.
  • If it is not possible to reschedule, we refund the full amount of the booking to the customer.

Cancellation requested by customer

When a customer requests to cancel a reservation, we follow these guidelines for the refund of previous payments:

  • If the cancellation is requested at least 10 days in advance, 100% of the payment is refunded.
  • If the cancellation is requested at least 72 hours in advance, half of the payment is refunded.
  • If the cancellation is requested at least 24 hours in advance, 10% of the payment is refunded.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or without a justified reason are not eligible for a refund.

To request a cancellation, it is necessary to send an email to our address (alcaufar@icloud.com). Cancellations are not accepted via WhatsApp, text messages, social media, or phone calls.

Cancellations due to weather conditions

Although we try to anticipate and manage bookings according to weather conditions, it is sometimes impossible to predict them accurately. If we are forced to cancel an activity due to adverse weather conditions, we follow these measures:

  • We try to change the activity location whenever possible.
  • If finding an alternative solution is not feasible, we offer the client available dates to reschedule the activity.
  • In the event that none of the above options are viable, we will proceed with a full refund of the reservation.
